Ardem Wiki Editorial Policy

Last verified 20 August 2026 against the official Steam store page and playardem.com.

Ardem is an unreleased game. That makes accuracy harder and more important than it would be for a shipped title, because there is very little a reader can check for themselves. This page sets out exactly how Ardem Wiki decides what to publish.

The three tiers of claim

TierWhat qualifiesHow it appears on the page
ConfirmedStated by Techtive Games on the Steam store page, playardem.com, or the official Steam Community FAQ threadStated plainly, with the source named and a verification date
ObservedVisible in official screenshots, the official trailer, or first-hand playtest footageDescribed as seen, not as specified
InferenceReasoning from confirmed facts, or from how comparable games workInside a marked callout, or explicitly worded as an estimate

Anything that does not reach one of those three tiers is not published. That includes leaks, unattributed forum claims, and figures from aggregator sites that do not cite an origin.

Standing rules

  • No invented numbers. If Techtive Games has not published a damage value, craft cost, spawn rate or map coordinate, this wiki does not have one either. Several pages say so explicitly rather than filling the gap.
  • No invented dates. There is no Ardem PS5 release date, no Xbox date and no exact Early Access date, because none have been announced. Pages say that instead of guessing.
  • Unknowns are named. Where something important is not known, the page states it. Quiet omission is a form of inaccuracy.
  • Conditional statements stay conditional. “A console release depends on the success and size of the player base” is reported as a condition, not converted into “coming to console” or “never coming to console”.
  • Estimates are labelled at the point of use, not in a disclaimer at the bottom.

Why every page carries a date

Ardem's status is actively changing: two playtests are scheduled, no price has been announced, and no release date exists. A statement that is accurate today may be wrong in six weeks. Every page therefore shows a last verified date, and the underlying claims are re-checked against the official sources rather than against our own previous pages.

The source tracker lists every load-bearing fact with its origin and verification date, so a reader can audit this wiki rather than trust it.

Corrections

When something here is wrong, it gets fixed and the page's verification date is updated. Substantive changes — a fact reversing rather than a typo — are logged on the news page with the date and what changed.

Corrections can be sent through the contact page. Sourced corrections are acted on fastest: a link to an official statement, or a screenshot that demonstrates the point.

What this wiki deliberately does not do

ExcludedWhy
Piracy, cracks, key resellersArdem has never released; nothing offered under those labels is real, and linking to it would be harmful
Cheats and trainersArdem is a multiplayer game with persistent servers
Speculative release datesPresenting a guess as news is the specific failure this wiki exists to avoid
Unverified “leaks”Unattributable claims cannot be corrected when they turn out to be wrong
Fabricated map coordinatesNo Minnowa map has been published by Techtive Games

Independence and disclosure

Ardem Wiki is not affiliated with Techtive Games and receives no direction, payment or review from the studio. Nothing here is approved by the developer, and nothing here should be read as an official statement.

Screenshots are official Ardem media used for identification and commentary, credited to Techtive Games on every use. Outbound links to official sources carry nofollow and open in a new tab; they exist so readers can check the primary source, which is the whole point. See about this wiki and the terms of service.

What changes on 15 October 2026

When the public playtest opens, a large amount of currently unknowable material becomes directly observable. At that point the guides, weapons, vehicles, items and map pages move from the confirmed systems standard to first-hand verification with original screenshots, and anything that turns out to have been wrong is corrected and logged.

Key takeaways

  • Three tiers: confirmed, observed and inference — and the third is always labelled.
  • No invented numbers and no invented dates. Unknowns are named rather than omitted.
  • Every page carries a last verified date, because Ardem's status changes.
  • Piracy, cheats, key resellers and unattributed leaks are excluded entirely.
  • Corrections update the page, refresh its date, and are logged on the news page.

Frequently asked questions

How do you decide what counts as confirmed?

A claim is confirmed only if Techtive Games stated it on the Steam store page, playardem.com or the official Steam Community FAQ. Everything else is either labelled as observed from official footage, or marked as inference.

Do you cover leaks or rumours about Ardem?

No. Unattributable claims cannot be corrected when they turn out to be wrong, and publishing them would undermine the one thing this wiki is for.

How quickly are corrections made?

Sourced corrections are usually acted on the same day. Substantive changes update the page's verification date and are logged on the news page.
