20 August 2026 — Ardem Wiki launches

This wiki went live with 56 pages covering release status, playtest access, platforms, system requirements, the Minnowa map, weapons, vehicles, items and survival guides. Every load-bearing fact was verified against the Ardem Steam store page, playardem.com and the official Steam Community FAQ on this date. See the source tracker.

Ahead of launch — playtest schedule confirmed

Techtive Games announced two playtests: a closed test on 31 August 2026 and a public test, Protocol: The Outbreak, on 15 October 2026. The official playtest page describes the October test as “open to everyone, no invite, no waitlist” and calls it the first time Ardem opens its world to all players at once. Ongoing — Early Access target remains 2026

The Steam store page continues to list Ardem as Coming Soon with a 2026 Early Access target and no exact date. Techtive Games states it is targeting a development cycle of under two years for Early Access, and that the Early Access price will be lower than the full release price. Previous playtest — approximately four months

In the official Steam FAQ, Techtive Games notes the previous Ardem playtest ran for around four months, and that future playtests should be expected to last at least two weeks. What we are watching for

These are the open questions that would change multiple pages on this wiki the moment they are answered. Each is tracked on the source tracker:

• An exact Early Access date. Would rewrite the release date page and the homepage.
• A price announcement. Would resolve Ardem price and half of is Ardem free.
• Any console statement. Would change platforms, PS5, Xbox and crossplay together.
• Playtest wipe and carry-over policy. Affects how much time players should invest in October.
• A published Minnowa map. Would let the location tracker become a real map.

Official Ardem announcements come through the Steam Community announcements feed, playardem.com, the official Discord, and the studio's TikTok, YouTube and X accounts. The Official Links block in the sidebar and footer of every page on this wiki points at the primary sources directly — we would always rather you read the original than take our word for it.

What gets logged here

Only changes we can trace to Techtive Games or an official channel: the Steam store page, playardem.com, the official Steam Community FAQ and announcements, or the studio's own social accounts. Coverage from other sites is not a source in itself — if a news article reports something, we look for the original statement behind it and log that instead.

Unattributed leaks, rumours and aggregator-invented release dates are not logged at all, for the reason set out in the editorial policy: a claim nobody can trace is a claim nobody can correct.

Techtive Games posts across several places, and different ones move first depending on the news. The Official Links block in the sidebar and footer of every page on this wiki points at the ones whose URLs we have verified.

A note on the last row: SteamDB (often searched as Steam DB) and Steam Charts are not official, and while SteamDB build activity is often the first public sign that a playtest is imminent, an unannounced depot update is not a confirmed announcement. This wiki treats it as a signal to go looking for an official statement, never as a source in its own right.
